Bangladesh Edible Oil Limited (BEOL) has achieved the prestigious AIB International Audit Certification for its factory unit. The certification, awarded by the renowned American Institute of Baking (AIB) International, signifies BEOL’s adherence to high food safety standards. BEOL has consistently maintained strict food safety practices since 2017, leading to this significant accomplishment. The certification places BEOL among an elite group of companies in Bangladesh and highlights its commitment to quality and safety in the food industry.

Asia’s Most Admirable Brand Award

Bangladesh Edible Oil Limited (BEOL), a highly regarded entity in Bangladesh’s edible oil sector, achieved distinction by receiving the esteemed ‘Asia’s Most Admired Brands’ award at ‘The Brand and Leadership Conclave’ held in Singapore. BEOL has been a steadfast presence in the Bangladeshi market for over 30 years, introducing acclaimed brands such as Rupchanda, Fortune,  King’s, Meizan, Veola,  and Lucky. BEOL’s flagship brand, Rupchanda, the foremost choice for edible oil in Bangladesh, garnered international acclaim during this event. Recognized by White Page International, a prominent consultancy, Rupchanda was honored as the ‘Asia’s Most Admired Brand’ in the cooking oil category for the 2017/18 edition of ‘Asia’s Most Admired Brands & Business Leaders.’ This recognition, meticulously verified by PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers), underscores BEOL’s commitment to excellence and establishes its position as a leading player in the edible oil industry.

Among 500 initial contenders, Rupchanda emerged as one of the 100 awarded brands, making it the sole brand from Bangladesh in the 2017/18 edition to achieve this esteemed recognition.

Halal Certification

Bangladesh Edible Oil Limited (BEOL) has successfully renewed its Halal certification through the Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI), further affirming its compliance with rigorous Halal standards as prescribed by the Shariah (Islamic) Board. Certified under the BDS OIC/SMIIC 1:2021 guidelines, this renewal underscores BEOL’s commitment to maintaining the highest levels of quality, and safety, in its manufacturing processes and products. The Halal certification process involves rigorous audits and inspections, ensuring that BEOL’s manufacturing facilities and practices meet the highest standards of purity and quality and are safe for consumption.
